The Flower Bus

My name is Krista Adams, and I am the owner of The Flower Bus! I am excited to be a part of the Windsor market this year, and look forward to meeting everyone!
The Flower Bus is a very nontraditional flower shop. It is a converted shuttle bus that customers can come aboard and select their own flowers. My business is geared towards customers getting to use their creativity to make their own flower bouquet a la carte from the flower bar. This allows the customer to create their own custom arrangement to their specific budget and desire! I will also have the option to purchase pre-made arrangements.
It is very important to my business to support local and thereby all flowers that I provide is grown locally right here in the Annapolis Valley. This business is brand new, so the Winsor market will be where we have our first opening. The idea started when my husband and I were looking into buying or opening a flower shop. I had seen these mobile flower trucks popping up all over the United States, and thought a bus would be a lot more beneficial for our Canadian weather! We were able to find a bus this winter that would work for the shop, and have been busy working on the business ever since.
Fun Fact: This is not the first bus we have converted!  We actually also have a bluebird school bus we bought and converted when we lived in Colorado last year. We completely gutted it and made it into an RV for us to travel in. Our family of four drove Bob (bus's name) from Colorado all the way to Avonport Nova Scotia last August, right to our new home.
