The Avon Community Farmers’ Market is a not-for-profit organization, established to create a community gathering place where vendors can provide high quality, locally produced food, products and services to our community. We encourage healthy living, inclusive community connections and improved opportunities for all individuals in our community by promoting local economic development as well as social and community building.

Land Acknowledgement:
The Avon Community Farmers’ Market acknowledges that we are in Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi'kmaq People and that this land is governed by the treaties of Peace and Friendship signed in 1726. The Market also recognizes that we are all treaty people and have responsibilities to each other and this land. |

At the Avon Community Farmers' Market we have a variety of vendors. Each of our vendors is either primary or secondary.
Primary Vendor: Grows all of their products. These are farmers, foragers and gardeners. Secondary Vendor: All vendors that make/produce their products. These are artisans, crafters and bakers. We also have a table available to local community groups and weekly musical entertainment in the gazebo. Click on the links below for more info and to apply. |
